As the leaves turn and the air cools, join us in warming hearts through our series of engaging Autumn charity events aimed at making a tangible impact in our community.

Why Autumn is the Perfect Time for Charity Events

Autumn is a season of change and reflection, making it the perfect time to focus on charitable endeavors. As the weather cools and the pace of life slows down, people are more inclined to come together for a good cause. The spirit of giving and community is heightened during this season, making it an ideal time to host events that raise awareness and funds for important issues.

Moreover, autumn events can offer a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Whether it’s a warm cup of coffee at a charity morning or a gathering to discuss health awareness, the ambiance of autumn adds a special touch to our events. This season, we’re committed to making the most of this wonderful time to support those in need and bring our community closer together.

Spotlight on Macmillan Coffee Morning: Brewing Support for Cancer Care

Join us on Friday, 27th September for our Macmillan Coffee Morning, where we will be selling a range of specialty coffees and teas from Jamaica and Sri Lanka, as well as homemade cakes. Our goal is to raise at least £250 to support Macmillan in their vital work to help cancer sufferers.

Macmillan Cancer Support is dedicated to providing practical, medical, and financial support to those affected by cancer. By participating in our coffee morning, you’ll be contributing to a cause that makes a real difference in people's lives. So come along, enjoy some delicious treats, and help us brew support for cancer care.

Beyond Coffee: How Our Events Support the Community

While our Macmillan Coffee Morning is a significant event, it’s just one part of our broader commitment to supporting the community. Throughout the autumn, The Con Club will be hosting a variety of charity and awareness events aimed at making a positive impact. These events are designed not only to raise funds but also to educate and bring people together.

Community support is at the heart of what we do. By creating opportunities for people to come together, we foster a sense of unity and shared purpose. Whether through financial contributions or simply raising awareness, our events are a testament to the power of community action in addressing important social issues.

Upcoming Highlights: Prostate Cancer Awareness Day

We are excited to announce our upcoming Prostate Cancer Awareness Day in partnership with Prostate Cancer UK. This event will provide valuable information on understanding the disease and how to look out for it. While the date is yet to be confirmed, we are dedicated to ensuring this event makes a significant impact.

Prostate cancer is a critical issue that affects many, and awareness is key to early detection and treatment. Our event aims to educate the community on the risks, symptoms, and preventive measures associated with prostate cancer. Stay tuned for more details, and join us in spreading awareness and support for this important cause.

How You Can Get Involved: Volunteer Opportunities and Donations

Your involvement is crucial to the success of our charity events. There are numerous ways you can contribute, from volunteering your time to making donations. Volunteers are needed to help organize events, serve refreshments, and provide information to attendees. Your efforts can make a significant difference in the lives of those we aim to support.

Additionally, financial donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated. Whether you can contribute a little or a lot, every donation helps us reach our goals and support the charities we partner with. Join us in our mission to make a positive impact this autumn by getting involved in any way you can.
